T-Bone Walker recorded the first Electric Guitar Blues solo!

This is it, the root, the grand daddy, the first electric guitar soloist: Mr T-Bone Walker.

Originally a dancer, T-bone practiced along with the band in the breaks of his performance.

When T-bone had developed his guitar skills enough he took to the stage with the sweetest vocal you’d heard, blazing out solos with the guitar behind his back.

To put this in perspective, this was 10 years before Leo Fender invented the Telecaster!
