Another second guitar part + Charts!
Today we finish off our study of ‘Blowin’ In The Wind’ by taking a look at yet another second guitar part.
This one is intended for finger style technique as well but would work using a pick so let’s try both.
We also gather all the charts for this song before we finally let it go.
Next week is revision week, that means we’ll go over everything we’ve learned so far in this course.
Week 8 – Step 3 – 15-30 min
Let’s take a look at another way to play this song.
This arrangement is simpler and more sparse than what you had a few days ago.
Now the rhythm is the same as the original part through out, so 8th notes over beat one and three. For beat two and four you play the pushy one; two 16ths and one 8th.
Here’s the video again, play along!
Week 8 – Step 4 – 15-30 min
Next up we gather all the charts, it’s up to you now to create your own arrangement for this song.
Try going between the part you learned today and strumming like I do in the video, using a pick.
Also try blending this latest part and last weeks chart when playing finger style.
