I think the material is excellent. I’ve benefited so much. I’ve now begun to improvise with some confidence and have written songs that feel authentic. I can now develop musically in a broad and rich way. Your work has illuminated an exciting path forward.– Roger

Mama Cass spent most of her time and had the most success with the band The Mamas & The Papas. They were a hugely successful vocal group between 1965 and 1968.

During this short period of time, The Mamas And The Papas became world famous by getting eleven top 40 singles from five albums. In total, they sold over forty million copies worldwide.

Their most famous hits include ‘Monday, Monday’, ‘California Dreamin’ and ‘Dream A Little Dream Of Me’.

After the band dispersed in 1972, Mama Cass pursued an acting career as well as a solo career.

In 1974, after a sold-out, two-week stint at the London Palladium, Mama Cass returned to flat No. 12 at 9 Curzon Place, Mayfair where she died in her sleep from a heart attack. Two years later, The Who’s drummer Keith Moon died in the same flat.
